Its biggest advantage is the fact that it is a lot more affordable than even the cheapest HealthmateForver unit. However, there is a reason why it is so affordable. For one, it runs on 4 AAA batteries, and that implicitly means it is a lot bigger than you would want it to be. It also has only 3 types of massages and you do not get to set the intensity but you can tell the unit what area you are massaging and it determines the safety limits on its own. Of course you can cheat and use the shoulder setting on the abs, or the other way around, but you would have to guesstimate a lot.
